各二级万博（系、部）：
为贯彻教育部《高职高专教育英语课程教学基本要求》，继续深化高职高专教育英语课程教学改革，进一步展现和提高高职高专学生职业英语应用能力，营造良好的外语学习氛围，为浙江省口译大赛和全国口译大赛）、写作大赛等赛事选拔优秀人才。万博特决定举办首届ManBetX万博翻译技能大赛，该比赛由教务处主办ManBetX万博承办。
（一）比赛流程：
A、报名：本次大赛采用分院推荐和现场报名的结合方式，原则上参赛选手通过分院推荐产生，每个分院参赛人数不超过10人。同时为了鼓励学生积极参与和选拔人才的考虑，比赛还设置现场报名，各分院没有纳入推荐名额，但是在翻译写作方面有特长的学生可以自行前往报名现场进行面试型报名，现场报名的总名额为10人，组委会将根据现场面试情况决定并公布现场报名参赛者。
B、笔译大赛：全体参赛选手（分专业组合非专业组）在两个半小时内完成两篇文章的翻译（其中一篇为英译中，一篇为中译英）和一篇英文命题作文。项目组教师利用一个星期的时间对笔译作品进行评选，共评选出前30名，公布名单学生准备一周之后，参加最后口译的角逐。
C、口译大赛：赛前经抽签决定选手出场顺序，分专业组和非专业组分别进行竞赛。
（二）报名/比赛时间及地点：
万博各系部全日制在校学生均可报名参赛。建议每个万博开展初赛筛选选手，或者推荐已经通过CET-4或者相应英语等级考试，且在翻译和写作方面有特长的选手参赛，每个万博初赛名额为10名。
现场报名工作定于10月11日下午1：30---3：00在国际语言文化交流中心门口（信息楼大厅一侧）组织。参赛选手届时请赴报名现场参加面试和报名。报名时请携带相关英语考试证书。

（三）比赛规程：
笔译大赛：内容为英译中、中译英各一篇，共两篇翻译，可携带英译汉、汉译英词典各一本，但不准使用电子词典和现代通讯工具。
中译英例文：

口译大赛： 由“口头作文”、“英译中”和“中译英”三部分组成。具体流程如下：
1) 参赛选手抽签，获取口头作文的题目和要求。并根据要求，当场即兴完成口头作文一篇，时间1分钟。
2) 参赛选手听一段1分钟的中文，在规定的时间内，现场用英文概述原文内容；
3) 参赛选手听一段2分钟的英文，在规定的时间内，用中文概述原文内容；
4) 在整个过程中，学生可以用笔记录。
5) 赛题内容将以大学生活、经济、政治、教育、国际形势等为主，充分结合学生的专业特色，以职场英语为辅。
